For employees who hold leadership positions and would like to improve their communication skills. As a leader of projects, programs or people your central function is to ensure conversations drive results, inspire innovation, and support necessary change.
What is Fierce?
To be fierce means to be authentic, present and real in day to day conversations. Real can be scary. Yet it is the unreal or missing conversations that are costly in terms of morale, engagement, and performance.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will have been introduced to and practices the five Fierce modules, including Fierce Foundations and the four conversation types: Team Conversation, Coaching Conversation, Delegation Conversation and Confrontation Conversation.
The foundation explores:
- Why conversations are critical to individual and organizational success
- How to have conversations that tackle tough challenges while enriching relationships
- How to shift old paradigms and build a skill set that paves the way for productive, respectful and often difficult conversations
- How context often gets in the way of achieving results
The team conversation model is a structured approach for interrogating multiple competing perspectives. The skills taught will increase your ability to make the best possible decision for the organization. Together, teams build an environment of inclusion where everyone, both external and internal processors, share insight and are heard.
