This course introduces you to foundational concepts found in project management and how they are used within the context of the BC Public Service. These concepts provide you with the knowledge you will need to participate in any project team.

Participants learn to:

  1. Recognize a project and project management in the BC Public Service;
  2. Explain the project lifecycle and ten knowledge areas of project management; and
  3. Use project management concepts in conceptualizing the project charter
